Goathead thorns are a notorious nuisance in Western Colorado. Many bike shops charge customers for flat tires or require expensive insurance add-ons. We don't.
We believe you shouldn't be penalized for bad luck. That's why every rental at Palisade Bike Rentals includes our Flat Tire Protection Promise at no additional cost.
What We Do to Keep You Rolling
- Tannus Armour Protection: We install premium Tannus Armour tire inserts in our fleet. This provides 15mm of ballistic puncture protection against thorns and sharp objects.
- The Ride is On Us: If you get a flat tire on a paved road or designated trail, your rental is FREE. We will fully refund your rental fee for that day.
- Roadside Support: Just give us a call. We'll come to you to get you back on two wheels or back to the shop, free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE: This protection covers accidental flats on paved roads and designated gravel routes (like the Fruit & Wine Byway). It does not cover damage caused by riding off-road, on mountain bike singletrack, or in restricted areas where e-bikes are prohibited.
