Terms of Service
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of services offered by Palisade Bike Rentals (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including bicycle and e-bike rentals, accessories, and the website palisadebikerentals.com. By booking, renting, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1) Eligibility & Identification
- Renter must be 18+ to rent; minors may ride only with a parent/guardian renter of record.
- A valid government-issued photo ID and payment card are required at pickup.
2) Bookings, Pricing & Payments
- Prices may vary by model, duration, and season; taxes/fees may apply.
- We may preauthorize your card or require a refundable hold/deposit at pickup.
- Payment is due at booking or pickup as stated on your confirmation.
3) Cancellations, No-Shows & Changes
- Cancellation: No Cancellation fees. All fees and deposits are fully refundable.
- No-Shows: Unclaimed hourly bookings may be released after 30 minutes. Rental fees are not refunded, however all deposits will be released.
- Changes: Time/model changes are subject to availability and price differences.
4) Check-In, Returns & Late Fees
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early for helmet fitting, safety review, and waiver signing.
- Return all equipment (bike, helmet, lock, keys, accessories) by the agreed time.
- Late returns may incur hourly increments and/or an additional day charge after store close.
5) Equipment Use, Care & Restrictions
- Always wear a helmet and obey local traffic laws; ride defensively.
- No stunts, racing, or unsuitable terrain (technical MTB, water crossings, etc.).
- No riding under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
- Lock bikes when unattended; do not leave bikes on vehicles unless staff-approved.
6) Damage, Loss & Cleaning
- You are responsible for the bike/accessories from check-out to check-in.
- Charges may apply for repair/replacement, excessive cleaning, or lost keys/locks/accessories.
- Report accidents, damage, malfunctions, or theft immediately (and to authorities if applicable).
7) Mechanical Issues & Weather
- Stop riding and contact us if you experience a mechanical issue; we’ll work to resolve it promptly.
- We may delay, reschedule, or cancel due to unsafe weather (high winds, lightning, ice, etc.).

- Site content (text, designs, images, logos) is owned by or licensed to us and protected by IP laws.
- You may not copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer site features except as permitted by law.
10) SMS & Email Communications
- By providing your mobile number or email, you consent to transactional communications (e.g., booking updates).
- Opt out of promos anytime (reply STOP for SMS; use unsubscribe links for email). Message/data rates may apply.
11) Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect and use information.
12) Gift Cards, Vouchers & Specials
- Not redeemable for cash; may include blackout dates/expirations as allowed by law.
13) ADA & Accessibility
We strive to provide accessible experiences. Contact us in advance so we can assist with accommodations where possible.
14) Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Venue for disputes is the state or federal courts in Mesa County, Colorado.
15) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
